it was awesome!

Blue Collar Mattias

友人のマティアスが一時帰国してたので、会ってきました。


彼はスウェーデン出身で、

ニュージーランドを旅してるときに日本人女性と出会い日本で結婚、

日本で約十年暮らし、フォトグラファーとして活躍、

そして３年前からはタイでブルーカラーワーカーとして

毎日、オイル関係の力仕事をしている。


彼は日本で撮りたくない写真を撮って食っていくより、

好きな時に、好きな場所で、好きな写真を撮る生活を送る為に

異国の地で毎日力仕事をする方が幸せなのだ。

だから彼はブルーカラーワーカーである自分を誇りに思っているし、

心から楽しんでいる、、。


彼と話していると、

本当に世の中には人の数だけ価値観というものがあるんだということを考えさせられる。


今までも自分のやりたい事を探して世界を飛び回ってきた彼は

この先に何を魅ているのだろう、、。


マティアス、いつも帰ってくると連絡くれてありがとう。

短い時間だったけど今回も楽しかったよ。

また来年話そう。




I saw my friend Mattias when he return to japan temporarily.
he was born in Sweden,
his wife is Japanese, he saw his wife first time in New Zealand,
then he moved to Japan and became a photographer in Japan for 10 years.
but he quit his work about 3years ago,
because he didn't want take more uninteresting photo for just work.
he moved to Thailand same year for becoming blue collar worker.
and i could see that he is proud of oneself being a blue collar worker
because he does hard work to take a photograph by a hobby.
i thought by talk with him that the sense of values of the person was
only the number of the people.
thank you for calling every time, Mattias.
it was short time but so fun time.
i will talk to you next year again.
